The Pickup App is a location driven app which tracks a driver offering a lift to passenger(s).
It is offered free without ads, but minibus taxis and buses with a set route may purchase a subscription which would ensure a more permanent presence.
The Driver initiates the Pickup and recieves a code which he can then Whatsapp to the Passenger. The Driver can also specify pickup points.
The Passenger can then enter the code which will be linked to the Driver.
Both the Driver and the Passenger will communicate their positions to the server.
If the Driver has specified one or more stops, the time and distance the Driver has to go will be reported to the Passenger.
If no stop has been specified, then the distance to the Passenger's location will be reported.
